El Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Cardiology Rema has renewed the collaboration agreement with the Union Cycliste Montgó. In this way, UC Montgó members can continue to benefit from medical examinations and stress tests.
As an improvement, a roller has been incorporated into the REMA equipment to do the stress test, with the athlete's own bicycle. As a result of these tests, a detailed report of a spiro-ergometry including gas analysis and an echocardiography will be obtained.
The agreement did not lack Montgó UC president, Javier Camarena and the founder of the REMA Clinic, Juan Olivert.
"With this agreement we are thinking of the cyclist. The test for us in our own bike is an added value and appreciate the efforts of the clinic, "said Javier Camarena satisfied.
For his part, Juan Olivert, wanted to thank the concern of the cycling association and highlighted the importance of these tests against the feared sudden death.
