The clinic REMA has established an agreement with the Club d'Atletisme de La Xara, in which athletes will be offered complete cardiological medical examinations with electrocardiography, Doppler echocardiography and Gas Stress tests, performed by renowned Cardiologists.
The Club d'Atletisme de La Xara participates in numerous races and is very active.
Ernest Ivars club president said that "with this agreement we are thinking about the athlete and their health and better performance. Obviously the stress tests give peace of mind for the sport. "
The REMA clinic, for its part, wanted to “thank the El Club d'Atletisme de La Xara for the concern and the importance of carrying out these examinations that help detect the much feared sudden death”.
