This was stated, after holding a meeting with the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, and with the General Director of Tourism, Herick Campos, in which he highlighted the good progress of the tourist season.
The objective of this initiative, which contemplates allocating 8 million euros, is to stimulate internal demand for tourism from September to consolidate employment in this key sector in the Valencian Community, which implies lengthening the season as much as possible given the environmental offer , gastronomic and tourist that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
The president explained that the measure ultimately aims to "consolidate the deseasonalization of tourism, maintain employment and help the citizens of the Valencian Community to get to know their counties better, while promoting territorial cohesion".
