Quique Dacosta cooks in Italy against child malnutrition

The chef based in Dénia Quique Dacosta, holder of three Michelin stars in his restaurant, recently participated in a solidarity action in Milan (Italy) in favor of the fight against hunger.

Dacosta cooked at the Hotel Principe di Savoia, in Milan, a dinner with nine renowned Italian chefs such as Andrea Berton, Fabrizio Cadei, Andrea Aprea and Antonio Guida, with the aim of raising funds for programs against child malnutrition.

The chefs participated in an altruistic way in this initiative promoted by Action Against Hunger on World Water Day. Thanks to their participation the organization has raised a total of 21.000 euros that will allow treatment based on therapeutic foods to 750 children.

Dacosta, who is ambassador of Action Against Hunger and collaborates in other charitable causes such as Restaurants Against HungerHe took the opportunity to share the experience of his last trip to Senegal where he met on the ground the projects in which the NGO works, stating that "Now you are all ambassadors of this cause, each of us can commit to a world free of hunger".
