First expedition of the marine environmental volunteer and fishing

Three young people were the first to participate in the first landlocked scheduled for service volunteer marine and fisheries. They accompanied by staff from the municipal marina and fishing coordination, learned to know the species of cetaceans and birds that inhabit the environment, how to identify the sighting, where nesting birds, what kind of seabed found in each area of ​​the coast and what biodiversity is home.

The expedition began with hosting volunteers from the council of Fisheries, Sisco SignesAnd Environment, Juan Carlos SignesIn the marina Marina de Denia. Then they gave a talk on the exit and began going to make the crossing.

In the marine reserve of Cap de Sant Antoni could catch sight shags, a protected species that nests on coastal cliffs and gannets. Upon his return, outside the boundaries of the reserve, they visited two boats artisanal fisheries.
