Raül Oliver, coordinator and head of Obstacle BOX Dénia Sports Center, notes that «no va a ser un entreno cualquiera, sino que estamos rediseñando algunos de nuestros obstáculos para acoplarlos a los obstáculos exclusivos de la Survivor Race, como puede ser la piscina de 6 metros de largo, la cual, hemos puesto debajo de los Fly Monkeys, un obstáculo que consiste en pasar volando entre diferentes barras suspendidas y si caes, al agua. No queremos que la gente tenga miedo a este deporte, así que también vamos a tener un obstáculo hinchable donde el trabajo en equipo será la única forma de superarlo, ya que el hecho de que podamos simular la lluvia, hará que sea más complicado a la par que divertido poder pasar estos obstáculos”.
Oliver also wants to clarify that this sport is not only for the brave. It has already been demonstrated on several occasions that this sport is for everyone, children, youth and adults.
"For my part I am happy that people are encouraged to try this sport, because this way we combine sport and fun, one of the main goals of our sports center," says Susana Campos, director of the facility.
