«Port Rotes is on the line» with its Fallera Mayor, Naia Jiménez

29 September 2012 - 20: 04

The presentation of Naia Jiménez as Fallera Mayor of Port Rotes returned radio to the fallera commission, which made it to the sound of the "Port Rotes està en l'ona" program.

One of the presenters of the act, Juanjo Guntiñas, made an introduction to the public before the theme of the presentation was discovered, in which he asked for complicity and collaboration. When the curtain was opened, the public discovered a radio studio with its booth, a guest table and a special place for the Fallera Mayor and its court. Carolina Sese accompanied Guntiñas in the presentation of a light and fun act.

Rafa Caminal, president of Port Rotes 2012-2013 was the first to get on stage, at the rate of "I'm just a gigolo." Once up, he received the falleras of the commission and, after them, a live telephone call gave way to the protagonist of the night, Naia Jiménez, to the sound of "Marqués del Turia". Once up, they received Mireia Reig, the outgoing Major fallera, and imposed the band on Naia, who arrived from her partner.

Mireia Reig said goodbye to his position and one year was not easy, marked by the sudden death of the president, Salva Sivera. Sivera was also present at his farewell, not only with the cane that Mireia has always carried, but with a video fragment of his presentation that was very applauded by the audience.

During the "program" there was time to remember the fallas parodies that were broadcast on Radio Dénia years ago created by the falleros themselves and for live interviews, in this case the president of Local Board Fallera, Jaume Bertomeu.

As is traditional in the Port Rotes commission, all failures from Dénia took the stage to pay homage to Naia, and they did it as if they were musical dedications, read by Eva Round, and with personalized songs for each commission.

One of the emotional and expected moments was the exaltation of Naia, in charge of two of her friends within the fault, who asked her to leave nothing to do this year and enjoy it like never before.

After the pleas of their children, the president of the Festival Commission of the Mare de Déu, the councilman of parties and the Fallera Mayor de Dénia, Marta Tabernero, came the turn of the words of Rafa and Naia, very excited They appreciated the support of their families.

The final point to the presentation was the live performance, singing the anthem of the falla, by Ana Moñino, which put the audience standing intoning "Som la Falla de la Festa, that of the bot and la rialla".
