"There is nothing better than being a working woman in our Dénia"

Equality seized last night of the Chamber of City Hall of Denia, a crowded room to celebrate the act of the Day of Women. Men, women, boys and girls wanted to Pepita Pedraza clothing in the event that paid tribute on this special day.

The councilors of the Miguel Llobell City Council, Juan Sancho, began speaking. Emy Marcilla presented to the honoree, Pepita Pedraza, founder and director of school Paidos, who began his speech by getting excited remembering his father and how proud he would be at that moment of her. Pepita recalled her beginnings in teaching, how difficult it was to start the Paidos school and the satisfaction she has today when she looks back and sees the long road traveled and its very satisfactory results. She also had words for all the team that works with her, especially the women who during these years (from1976) have formed a family while working in the school, bringing to the world fifty children.

He also wanted to advise the younger ones, who have had more opportunities to train and now, because of the situation in the country can find a job. Pepita advised them not sit still waiting for work call their doors, but think of options and move to find those opportunities.

Finally, he thanked the family that has formed over the years, defending the pattern of women with duties and responsibilities, and concluded that sentencing "There is nothing better than being a woman, a working woman in our Day."
