The EATIM of Jesús Pobre has launched the participation process of the Urban Agenda and Agenda 2030 Strategic Plans, documents that will include the design of the municipality model for the next decade.
These Strategies will pay special attention to the entity's own identity and will design the lines of action so that Jesús Pobre is a benchmark in sustainability, digitization, employment and transparency, open to participation and aligned with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda, essential for be able to access aid and financing from the European Union for any type of project.
According to the mayor, Javier Scotto, «These strategies cannot be designed unilaterally by the governments but by the neighbors of Jesús Pobre, since they will be the main beneficiaries of these actions. They are strategies by and for everyone”.
To this end, both the key agents of the municipality and the general public have been summoned to participate in a table-workshop for next September 28 in the Plenary Hall of the EATIM at 19:00 p.m. In this activity, the challenges of the Jesus Pobre will be discussed and aspects such as Jesús Pobre Patrimonial will be addressed, to value tradition, identity, culture and local heritage; Jesus Poor Sustainable, Resilient and Efficient, to promote a greener entity and the effective management of resources; Jesús Pobre Dynamizer, Innovator and Entrepreneur, to promote local talent, employment, training and trade; Jesús Pobre Caring, Inclusive, Diverse and Kind, focused on improving the quality of life of citizens; Jesús Pobre, Intelligent entity, to favor the conversion towards a Smart Village; and, lastly, Jesús Pobre Open and Transparent, aimed at implementing a socially responsible and participatory governance.
In addition to this face-to-face activity, the residents of Jesus Pobre who so wish may complete an online questionnaire that will be published on social networks.
