The best fry and youngest teams of the local basketball league received their trophies

The closing ceremony of the local basketball league in the categories of youngest and youngest took place in the Joan Fuster pavilion in an extraordinary atmosphere. In the juvenile category teams they received their trophies were; Paidos Blue, champion team, Alpha & Omega as runner-up and Carmelitas and third place.

2015-16 this course nine teams participated in the league of older, school fifth and sixth primary grades. Only the Pou and schools Cervantes could not make it to the nine participants, the minimum necessary to get equipment.

While the Benjamin category the teams that received their trophies were; Alfa & Omega A as champion, Paidos Azul as runner-up and Paidos Blanco as third place. In the category of middle school, third and fourth year students, up to thirteen teams have participated this year for a total of more than 140 school children practicing basketball. The nine elementary schools in Denia have presented equipment in this 2015-16 course. In addition to the trophies to the first three there were also prizes for sports progression, awarded this course to the LLebeig and Carmelitas teams.

Before delivering the trophy two friendly matches were played on the slopes of the pavilion Joan Fuster to close this juvenile category. They participated in the three teams swept the podium and the youngest champion.

The champion, Paidos Azul, played against the runner-up, Alfa & Omega while on another track the third classified, Carmelitas played against the Benjamin champion, Alfa & omega A. The results of these last matches were the least important. Well, their character was that everyone had a great time.

At the end of the party we proceeded to the awarding of medals by the present authorities: Marián Tamarit, mayor of sports, the coach, Inma Lillo and Paco Moreno, Chairman of the Denia Basketball Club.
