Representatives of more than 400 companies in the Marina Alta recently met in the neighboring town of Pedreguer to establish the bases for the development of a common project that would benefit both the business community and the Marina Alta region itself.
As explained by the president of the Marina Alta Young Entrepreneurs Association (JOVEMPA), Emilio Sentí, what is intended is to achieve a much richer and much more structured Marina Alta at the municipal level as well as to achieve a real synergy between associations and companies that allows to face the decisions that are carried out and that affect the commercial sector and industrial.
"It's about paddling all in the same direction to achieve the objectives that, a priori are common to all", point Sentí. Some of these objectives are to improve the economic situation of the Marina Alta, to advocate for a quality designation of origin for our products and to achieve real cooperation between the companies.
According to the president, "In the Marina Alta there are many and very good companies that have very varied activities, practically unknown in the area, and that based on business synergies, they can be very benefited."
