This Tuesday the XII International Red Prawn Creative Cooking Competition of Dénia was held and chef Cristina Gómez, from the Fierro de València restaurant, was the winner. Until reaching that moment, the participants have worked hard during the day under the gaze of curious onlookers who approached the Dénia Municipal Market, where the contest took place.
There were eight finalists who competed for the award, which ended up on Gómez's plate: "Les Vermelles, Gamba amb Bleda." Second place went to Cesar Mogollón, from the Ambivium restaurant in Peñafiel (Valladolid), while third place went to Ariel Mungia, from the Raza restaurant in Valladolid.
