The Club Atletisme Benissa Renault Ginestar has reached a collaboration agreement with the Sports Cardiology Clinic REMA, Through which it will offer its athletes, cardiological complete medical examination with electrocardiogram, echocardiogram Doppler and Gases stress tests carried out by renowned cardiologists.
Club Atletisme Benissa Renault Ginestar is one of the most active clubs in the region and proof of this are his numerous appearances in races and sporting success. 15 club athletes pass the examinations in the coming days.
The agreement was made with the intervention of the member of the board of Club Atletisme Benissa Rafael Ballester and founder of the REMA Clinic, Juan Olivert.
Both highlighted the importance of this collaboration for athletes. In the words of Rafael Ballester "With this agreement we are thinking about the athlete and his health and better performance. Evidently the stress tests will give peace of mind for sports practice". REMA clinical wanted "to thank the concern of the Club Atletisme Benissa and the importance of making these recognitions that help detect the dreaded sudden death".
