Andalusian-dianenses venerated the Virgen del Rocio

La Casa de Andalucía Dénia has celebrated this weekend one of the most anticipated events of the year, the Pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen del Rocío.

On Saturday afternoon the events began at the door of the headquarters, on Nou d'Octubre street. After the 18: 30 in the afternoon the image of the Virgin came out before the expectation of dozens of people who gathered at the beginning of the tour. The choir of the Casa de Andalucía sang a salve and, after the release of two pigeons by two children, the party began with Andalusian songs and dances in honor of the Virgin.

The pilgrimage began his path to walk the streets of Dénia before heading to the base of the Scouts in Polygon Industrial, where the events of the weekend took place in which dinners, music, a mass in honor of the Virgin, the imposition of medals to the new pilgrims and the Rociero baptism with water from the Guadiamar River.
