Today, Tuesday, June 4, the university entrance exams (PAU) begin in the Valencian Community in their ordinary call. Some tests that this year come with news to the Marina Alta, since, as we learned last February, they move location.
Starting this year, the students of the Dénia institutes that present themselves to the PAU tests will do so in the new headquarters, which will be located in the old Official School of Languages of Dénia, current headquarters of Gasterra, on Joan Fuster Avenue. A decision taken as a result of the problems that generated the tests in the IES Historian Chabás last year, adjusting millimetrically the schedules of the students who studied ESO, Bachillerato and Training Cycles with the schedules of the exams of selectivity, to which they presented 450 students from all over the region.
To avoid these problems, the Marina Alta has two headquarters: Dénia and a new one that will be located in the former IES of Benissa. In this way, in Dénia the students of the three institutes of the city will be examined, the IES Enric Valor, of Pego; and the IES Xebic, of Ondara.
Meanwhile, the students of the two institutes of Xàbia (Antoni Llidó and IES number 1); IES Josep Iborra de Benissa; the Mathematician Vicent Caselles de Gata de Gorgos; the IES of Teulada, the one of Pedreguer, and the IES Ifach of Calp.
Deadlines
Likewise, it should be remembered that the notes will be delivered from the 14 hours of the 14 in June and, in the case of the notes of the extraordinary tests, the delivery of the notes will be made from the 17 hours of the 10 in July.
In the ordinary call, the period for requesting claims or second corrections will be from 17 to 19 in June and claims for the second corrections, from 25 to 27 in June, except in Alicante, which will be from 26 to 28. Regarding the period of claims or second corrections of the extraordinary call, it will be the days 12, 15 and 16 of July, and the one of claims of the second corrections, the days 19, 22 and 23 of July.
Admission to universities
In this way, from the 17 of June to the 5 of July of 2019 to the 14 hours, all the students that have presented themselves to the PAU of June or of July, students with the access can participate in the pre-enrollment process. of seniors of 25, 40 or 45 years, students of previous courses, graduate students, students of training courses or foreign students.
The application for pre-registration can be completed through the telematic assistant hosted on the website of the Ministry.
On the other hand, students who can not participate in the pre-registration process because they do not know their qualifications within the pre-registration period, must go directly to the Valencian public universities to apply for a place when they have the qualifications, in the month of September.
