17 July 2013 - 00: 00

Joel insists they want to put their record, Laura is anxious because it's time to go to the water, and meanwhile, one of her classmates draws a comic book very concentrated. All are under the watchful eye of Mayte, Jessica and the other Ludai monitors, who during this summer coordinate the activities on the beach.

A group of 12 people with disabilities of different ages are this week enjoying the beach and summer activities on the beach of the Punta del Raset from Dénia. It is the second year that the disabled summer activity tent is up and running, and the second year that Ludai is trusted to carry it out.

From 9 to 14: 30 hours, users perform different workshops, bathe and perform activities that different associations offer to users, including even activities with animals. Jessica Romero, president of Ludai, explained that the tent works with five monitors, which complement the service so that they are well cared for.

This service, in addition to allowing users to continue with the activities they perform throughout the year, allows their caregivers to have a few hours of rest. It is a free activity funded by the council of social welfare with 15.000 euros. The councilor Pepa Sivera visited the users to know first hand their activities.

In the month of August will be the users of Aprosdeco who spend the summer in the tent.
