This weekend the return of the Mostra Internacional de Dansa Folklòrica de Dénia has been celebrated, with its twenty-ninth edition. A show that filled Plaza del Consell, the stage location, with hundreds of people every night to enjoy the best traditional dances.
It kicked off on Friday with a performance by the award-winning group Kud Krusik, from the Serbian city of Valjevo. On Saturday it was the turn of the Toledo Association of Choirs and Dances 'Rosa del Azafrán', with its traditional repertoire from La Mancha in its three traditional genres: the seguidilla, the fandango and the jota. The stage was closed on Sunday, as usual, with a performance by the local group Dianium Dansa.
