The UNED of Dénia gave a workshop on Prevention of Tobacco and Alcohol Consumption "at the IES Xebic in Ondara. The course was especially aimed at parents of adolescents with the aim of providing parents with intervention strategies and skills and communication for the prevention of the consumption of said substances.
This is a proposal by the school itself Ondara, already the students and now, thanks to the UNED Dénia is completed by a parent workshop was held.
The two-hour course was taught by the Training Coordinator, Lorena Pérez who was accompanied, at the opening ceremony, by the director of the IES Xebic, Esther Carpi and the deputy director of the center, Pura LLopis, in addition to the coordinator of Research, Miguel Ángel Civera who assured that the statistics reflect that the initiation in the consumption of tobacco and alcohol "starts in adolescents 13 years, in the physical and psychological development".
