The traditional night of San Juan takes the beaches of Dénia

24 June 2013 - 02: 42

One of our most traditional traditions and one that more people follow is undoubtedly the San Juans night. The beaches Dénia witnessed last night the devotion of the dianenses and tourists for this tradition. From early in the afternoon groups of families and friends took their places by the sea, prepared their bonfires and shared a night full of magic.

Punctual to the appointment, when the clock struck midnight everyone approached the water to wet their feet. Jump seven waves, ask innumerable desires, burn what you want to leave behind ... The rituals are varied and different, but all with common elements: fire and water purifiers.
