Dénia receive next May 25 major international tour of the second Buddhist authority after the Dalai Lama. His Holiness Sakya Trizin 41º visit the city to teach a special course extraordinary long life initiation known as buton Gongkhugma.
Sakya School was founded in 1073 by the master Khön Könchok Gyalpo, becoming one of the four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. In 1951, when he was just six years, the current Sakya Trizin was recognized by the Dalai Lama as the throne holder of the Sakya order. He is a highly intelligent figure whose aim is to promote higher education and extensive philosophical training and preserve the living transmission of the Sakya teachings.
Now, one hundred years after being discovered by Guru Chowang, the special practice of Guru Rinpoche long life became a specialty of the Sakya lineage in a second revelation which included the blessings of the five forms or aspects of of Buddha Amitayus, the Lord of Life and Unlimited Wisdom. In the afternoon there will be a teaching on Interdependent Origination and on the transmission of Manjushri Namasangiti.

Sakya Trizin's visit is part of a world tour that will bring to Spain by the International Center for Buddhist Studies of Pedreguer, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the center. Between the 28 14 May and June Buddhist spiritual director impart his teachings in the Cibet then continue with an extensive European tour.
