The occupation came to 90% in the second half of August

Councilor for Tourism, Pepa FontHe has released data occupation in Dénia during the second half of August. Hotel occupancy has been the 85%, five points higher than expected; rental accommodation have touched the campsites 80% and the 60%, maintaining last year's figures. In total, the occupation of the second half of August has hovered around 90%.

The national economy remains the most visiting our city-a 55% of the total, mostly from Madrid and Valencia and to a lesser extent, in Catalonia and the Basque Country. Internationally more who visit us are the French, followed by English and German.

For the different tourist offices of the municipality it has passed 42.000 people.

The occupation of this summer in Dénia has been "excellent" for the town hall, and it is expected that in September the occupation will be around 60%.
