The Municipal Market of Dénia has already dressed in Christmas. This Tuesday the Tree of Capacities has been installed, a different tree full of solidarity and gifts for market customers. This tree is made up of twenty shopping carts donated by the Garmol company, which this year have been personalized with the Ludai association logo.
Thanks to this initiative, Ludai will gain visibility among the citizens and will be able to raise funds, since from Garmol 15 units have been ceded for the association to sell them. The sale of the cars will also collaborate in the Christmas snack that every year celebrate the children of Ludai, according to the representative of the association Laura Llorca.
And beyond the solidarity, the cars will give a lot of joy to several Mercat customers, since the 22 units will be raffled, the next January 8, among the market customers who make purchases over the 10 euros between December 7 and the January 5. Each buyer must put his name and surnames and a contact telephone number on the ticket and then deposit it in the urns installed at the foot of the tree.
Christmas activities on the Mercat
This Christmas atmosphere will be completed with other activities announced by the councilor Javier Scotto and who want to turn the Mercat Muncipal into the epicenter of Christmas shopping. He December 16, the Mercat participates in La Nit de la Llum and will remain open from 19 to 23 hours. The days 15, 22 and 29, the Office of Innovation and Creativity, in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, plans to present in the market facilities various seasonal products that are grown in the region as part of the actions carried out in the development of the UNESCO Creative City project of Gastronomy. And as a culmination, the next December 23, at the 12 hours, the Coral del Hogar del Jubilado will perform, offering a concert of Christmas themes.
