The clothing came to the Cultural Days of the Local Board Fallera Denia

Valencia clothing is made a hole in the IV Cultural conference organized by the Local Board Fallera Denia, which have come to an end. The last talk, with a different and very full format, brought together a hundred people in Municipal House of Culture to hear talk about traditional clothing.

And we say that it was made with a different format because, in addition to changing place - they had been done in the Plenary Hall of the City Council -, it combined two events: the opening of an exhibition organized by the Gironés-Vila brand and the presentation of the book "Valencian Traditional Clothing" by Francesc Xavier Rausell.

The Falleras Mayores de Dénia opened the exhibition, where you can see, until next February 21, several suits and vests with the traditional fabrics of this brand. Together with them, in addition, the La Llar del Fil brand collaborated with several cancans, as well as the L'Espolí dianense house, which contributed some of its creations.

Then the activity focused on the auditorium, where Rausell presented his book accompanied by six models sported Valencian different styles of clothing. Rausell were with Paco Fonseca, La Llar del Fil, and Fernando Garcia Vila, of Gironés Vila.

They also reported that on Thursday 12 February will be a talk on the history of silk by experts of the firm Gironés Vila in addition to seeing an audiovisual history, attendees can see and touch the silks working with this house.
