The Department of Environment, Infrastructures and Territory has completed its part in the works of the Maritime station to reorder port traffic in the capital of the Marina.
Total investment of the Government amounted to 10 million euros invested in the construction of a three-storey building, a footbridge and two mechanized loading ramps.
Now it is the concessionary company, Puerto Natura, subsidiary of Baleària, which will begin to install the building's equipment, exterior urbanization works and the construction of the footbridges for loading and unloading passengers and merchandise as well as the fingers that will join the catwalks with the docked ships.
While the Maritime Station is scheduled to start operations this summer, the final date is still in the air.
