The Generalitat Valenciana has announced that it will invest 11,2 million euros this year in the purchase of homes, a figure that will increase to the 40 million euros budgeted in 2019 and that, as the president of the Generalitat has expressed, Ximo Puig, will facilitate the access of citizens "to affordable and decent homes" that guarantee their decision-making capacity and allow them to develop their life projects.
Puig reminded the public, that until November's 22, "You have this opportunity to make a home available to the Generalitat" and to enable "a fundamental right" to an inhabitant of the Valencian Community, since, as he has indicated, "It is essential to generate positions in which citizens can exercise freedom".
The Minister of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory, María José Salvador, has indicated that the Consell has "a very clear objective" with this initiative, as is "expand the public park quickly and immediately to ensure an affordable rental and decent housing" not just people "in a situation of vulnerability or extreme vulnerability", but also to "all those groups of young people or people" who can not access a home in the free rental market.
Requirements to sell a home to the Generalitat Valenciana
The homes that can be registered must be 50 years old at the most, lift if they are in height, at least one bedroom, living room and kitchen and be free of payments and living conditions, as well as a multi-family typology that does not is out of order.
