Foundation Baleària adds a new space in the region for art and dissemination. This week a collaboration agreement has been signed with the City Council of Pego through which the Museu d'Art of the municipality becomes part of the cultural program Llonges de la Cultura, which is part of various cultural spaces such as La Torre dels Ducs de Medinaceli in El Verger, Baleària Port (The Harbour District) Denia, the Llotgeta in Valencia, the Ivarsos Workshop in Benissa or Ca Gelabert At mallorca.
The manager of the Foundation, Ricard Pérez, anticipated the exhibitions that the Pego Art Museum will host during the first months, which will combine the presence of international artists such as Hachemi Ameur from Algeria, and other native artists such as Ramón Pérez Carrió or Joan Castejón .
The mayor of Pego, for his part, thanked the Fundació Baleària "having thought of Pego to be part of the cultural programming of the entity" and highlighted how this agreement "It means making the region of the Marina Alta abroad and that people discover what is done there".
