Almogàvers 20 celebrates years of his birth as filà in the party of Moors and Christians. Therefore, last Saturday took place a simple and emotional celebration in which some 30 current and old festers met to commemorate the anniversary.
During the ceremony 2 videos were projected. The first of them did a great review in images of the 20 years of the filà: his first Tro, capitanas, charangas, moments lived and parades of gala.
The second audiovisual explained the beginnings, the history and the feeling of Almogàver, through the intervention of different figures that made its birth and continuity possible. Among them, Rosa Pastor, a resident of Dénia, who in 1996 denounced the discrimination suffered by women at the Moors and Christians festival; Ramón Bertó, town crier 2017, whose filà was in favor of its integration; and Paco Serradell, director of the Canfali Marina Alta and godfather of the row. Some of the protagonists of the history of Almogàvers also participate, such as: Natalia Nadal (founder), Carmen Domínguez (first captain), Ana Adela Pastor (first woman announcer), and the festeras for 20 years in a row Oti Redondo and Mayte Cabrera.

Almogàvers is grateful for the support, collaboration, affection and respect that 20 has made possible for wonderful years of celebration, culture, tradition and joy.
