Important news in the fallero calendar of the city. After the malaise shown by the Josefino world in social networks about the duration of the exhibition of the ninot in the Center d'Art L'Estacio (scheduled from 2 to 9 March of 2019), the City Council has offered to Local Board Fallera to inaugurate, with this sample, the renovated facilities of the Fish Market.
According to the consistory in a statement, "This change of location wants to respond to the request of the Fallera Local Board, which requested that in 2019 the Ninot exhibition end closer to the days of failures, specifically on March 14 ".
The change of location is already closed, although, as confirmed by the president of the Fallera Local Board, José Vicente Benavente, the agency is waiting to finalize the final dates of the 2019 exhibition. The intention of the Board is to open the 23 of February, coinciding with the celebration of the Gala Sopar.
The facilities of the fish market, in the port, have been the result of an important reform subsidized with the Productive Investment Plan of the Generalitat Valenciana (former Plan Confianza). Currently working on the final details of the building, which will house an exhibition hall and the Museu del Mar de Dénia.
New festive space in the Municipal House of Culture
