Monday April 27 the Escola de Teatre Comarcal de Dénia (ETC) participated in the first meeting of theater schools of Valencia which took place in Foios (Valencia). In addition to the ETC School and attended the Alboraia Foios, Massamagrell, Aldaia, El Puig, Meliana, Mislata and Picassent.
Xema Palanca, representative of Aldaia, opened the meeting with a lecture on the history of the theater schools of the Comunitat Valenciana. Then a debate was opened about the relationships between them, their current needs, their functioning and their objectives.
Dénia representatives actively participated in the forum, exposing the pedagogical and organizational model that develops, getting a great reception among attendees that far exceeds the expectations of municipal schools.
This meeting served as a framework to establish improved communication between schools in the Region of creating synergies that encourage and enable the exchange of experiences and the work done by the students, the consolidation of such meetings and the idea of grouping the different schools in a federation.
