The Valencian Community has registered a total of 373 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen test since the last update.
Of the total number of new cases, 265 have been registered in the province of Valencia, 21 in that of Castellón and 87 in the province of Alicante. In this way, the Valencian Community accumulates a total of 399.997 positives, of which 41.400 in the province of Castellón, 149.356 in Alicante and 209.240 in the province of Valencia.
In addition, it should be noted that of the total number of new cases, more than a hundred correspond to young people who have returned to the Valencian Community after participating in end of study trips in other autonomous communities. Valencian Public Health teams continue to investigate these outbreaks, as well as follow up on contacts.
Given the increase in registered cases and the modification of the regulations on the use of masks, Minister Ana Barceló has appealed to the public to remain calm and prudent to avoid an increase in infections.
How is it possible that these types of trips have been allowed? The rest of us are with security restrictions but these boys have been allowed to go out like goats.
