The Valencian Community continues to reduce the accumulated incidence of coronavirus

The Valencian Community continues with the lowest accumulated incidence of coronavirus in the last 7 days in Spain. Specifically, there are 32,88 cases diagnosed per 100.000 inhabitants. In the case of the cumulative incidence of the last 14 days, the Valencian Community stands at 105,12 cases, only surpassed by Asturias and well below the Spanish average.

Regarding the latest data, there have been 301 new coronavirus infections confirmed by PCR test since the last update, putting the total number of positives at 35.296 people. By provinces: 3 in Castellón, 144 in Alicante, to which 10 previous cases have been reassigned and 154 in the province of Valencia, to which 13 previous cases have also been reassigned.

On the other hand, 914 patients with coronavirus have been discharged, so the total number of people cured since the start of the pandemic stands at 36.819. In this way, there are currently 6.005 active cases, which represents 13,52% of the total positives.

Valencian hospitals currently have 498 people admitted: 61 in the province of Castellón, with 12 patients in ICU; 176 in the province of Alicante, 34 of them in the ICU; and 261 in the province of Valencia, 33 of them in the ICU.

At present, there are some positive cases in 46 nursing homes.
