A new recognition for the tourist promotion campaign Tu casa sin tu, launched by Turismo Dénia during the summer of 2020 with the aim of keeping the destination present in the minds of potential tourists in the months of pandemic. On this occasion, the campaign is one of the finalists for "Best online campaign" of the WINA (World Independent Advertising Awards) awards, the most important festival in the world for independent advertising agencies, which will be held on June 11, in Dubai.
Your house without you, created by the Sapristi Décom agency (which has obtained two other nominations for different jobs), was launched at the worst time of the pandemic to position Dénia as a different destination and generate relevance among the target audience.
To do this, they opted for something totally different: change the point of view, and instead of showing the landscapes of Dénia, show the landscape that the public really wanted to see: their houses, finally, empty.
After the good acceptance obtained among the public, the awards also came: "Best online campaign at the Anuaria Awards for Spanish Graphic Design", "Best online campaign at the National Goliads Awards" and now the name of Dénia reaches Dubai, where it will compete with the best examples of world creativity.
The WINA awards bring together the best independent agencies in the world, with more than 48 countries represented from the 5 continents and a jury made up of some of the best publicists in the world.
Vicent Grimalt, Councilor for Tourism and Mayor of Dénia, has expressed his satisfaction with this new recognition, “because of the success that the campaign achieved at the time among the potential public, for its originality and for appealing to the most logical and simple feeling that we all shared in full pandemic, now we add the fact that the name of our city is once again present, worldwide, thanks to these awards given by professionals in the sector ”.
"This way of doing different from Dénia Tourism, in collaboration with Sapristi, is also a sample of the way of doing different, creative, close and of quality, of our tourist destination", added the mayor.
For his part, Alfred Pavía, partner and creative director of Sapristi Décom, wanted to share this success “with all the people who worked hard in the middle of the pandemic with the aim of continuing to maintain Dénia as a different tourist reference, with its own personality and essence ”. And with the Dénia Tourism team, whom he thanked for their trust.
