The Municipal Public Library of Dénia has already resumed programming with the public and, on the occasion of Book Day (April 23), has organized a lot of activities for old and young people. Following the regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the activities have a limited capacity for the public and to participate you must make a prior registration by calling 96 578 36 65 or by email Biblioteca@ayto-denia.es.
Programming starts on Saturday, April 17, at 12 noon, with the show The suitcase dels contes by the children's storyteller Óscar Mora.
Friday, April 23, at 19:30 p.m., there will be storytelling for adults, with Domingo Chinchilla and the story Joana the Saxon. In addition, during the day, users of the Dénia libraries that lend material will receive the gift of a cotton bag with a special design.
El Saturday 24, at 12 noon, the children's storytellers return with the musical show The musicians of Bremen driven by Mr. Tomato.
This special Book Day program closes on Friday, April 30, with a commented recital of the book It's always late (Edicions Proa, 2020) by Maria Josep Escrivà. The work is the winner of the Miquel de Palol Prize for poetry in Girona.
