La Fundació Baleària continues with its commitment to culture in the days of Covid-19 and organizes tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, an online meeting of Valencian and Balearic music bands. A total of six musical groups from different municipalities on both sides of the Mediterranean will participate and will be broadcast on the Facebook page and YouTube channel of Baleària to 18.00 hours.
Specifically, the concert will feature the participation of four bands from Mallorca: those from Marratxí, S'Almudaina, Sa Pobla and Manacor; one from Valencia, which will be that of Dénia and another from Ibiza that will be that of Sant Antoni de Portmany. In addition, it will count with the collaboration of the Jove International Music Project.
With this event, there are already four online cultural activities organized by the entity to entertain during the state of alarm. Ricard Pérez, manager of the Foundation remembers: "One of our main objectives is to facilitate cultural exchange between the territories separated by sea and linked by the Baleària ships ”. In addition to the two Baleàrics 2.0 concerts, the meeting of poets last week and the band festival this Saturday, the entity has promoted, through its social networks, the artistic creation of many painters and painters with whom it regularly collaborates .
