The winners of the "XIV Mitja Marató Ciutat de Dénia", were, Juan Antonio Fernández, of the Benidorm Athletics Club that was the first to cross the finish line, in the Calle Marques de Campo, with a time of 1: 13.28. Fernandez was throughout the race in the head group, where Moha Younes, Aitor Cabezas, Sergi Soler and other athletes also traveled.
In the final part, Moha Younes left alone followed by Juan Antonio Fernández, but in the Loreto streetYounes noticed that the muscles were seizing up and chose not to force to avoid any injury. Fernandez took advantage of it to arrive alone at the finish line.
In the absolute classification the three first classified were, Juan Antonio Fernández, followed by Moya Younes with a time of 1: 13.36 and Aitor Cabezas with a mark of 1: 14.40.
In women entered together in goal Mª Carmen Pérez and Kristina Molnar, both with a time of 1: 31.25. The third place went to the Dianense, Elía Durá with a record of 1: 39.50.
