In the plenary session of last Tuesday February 09, 2021, the Eatim de Jesús Pobre unanimously approved the request for two subsidies by the Alicante Provincial Council, the Closer Plan and the Water Cycle.
Regarding the Closest Plan, endowed with 148.000 euros, the Minor Local Entity requests the remodeling of the urban crossing of the CV-738 of Jesús Pobre for reasons of degradation of the pavement, accessibility and improvement of traffic safety, and also manages that this remodeling project is completed with the area affects the competence of the Diputación de Alicante.
Taking into account the need to act on traffic as well as on accessibility, a joint action is being coordinated, which in the case of Eatim will be addressed through the Closest Plan, and which will involve the complete remodeling of the crossing between the Pare Pere street and the car monument, since it will include the extension and replacement of sidewalks, the relocation of services such as lighting and complete paving, complying with accessibility standards, and the placement of speed bumps by the Alicante Provincial Council , reorganization of pedestrian crossings and various signage.
Regarding the Water Cycle, for the second consecutive year the Minor Local Entity requests, at the expense of the Provincial Council and for a total amount of 120.000 euros, the extension of the sewerage network from Pinaret street to Cases Noves in a first phase, in order to That this consolidated area can access the connection to the public sewerage, all within the comprehensive development plan of the sewerage network that Jesús Pobre needs.
