The greater falleras of Denia 2017, Ines Alacreu and Mar Cabrera, finalize the acts like maximum representatives of the failures from the city. Next Friday we will know the names of their successors, and meanwhile, the major fallas 2017 continue to represent the city.
Last Sunday, 21 of May, Inés and Mar went to the traditional Besamanos to the Mare de Déu dels Desemparats, an act that is celebrated every year in the chapel of the Escolanía of València. Ines and Mar were accompanied by the outgoing and incoming presidents of the Local Board Fallera, José Antonio Monsonís and José Vicente Benavente.
During the event, attended by the failures of València in the botanical sector, as well as representatives of the failures of the Local Fallera Junta of Dénia, Puzol and Villareal, they learned the story of Father Jofré of Valencia and where reference was made to the visit to Denia by boat by the Virgin herself, the Pilgrim, not yet a year ago.
