The Assembly of Councilors of Compromís full Marina Alta Last weekend, he elected Xaló councilor Gerard Fullana as provincial deputy for this legislature, in which he will be accompanied by Concha del Ruste (Pego), Magda Mengual (Gata) and Mar Chesa (Ondara).
In his speech, Fullana stressed that "the teamwork that we have created with three women who have turned the political situation around their peoples and who, like many other councilors, are a reference for a generation of women who have been the main protagonists of the progressive change driven by the elections of the past Month of May".
Gerard Fullana recalled that the Council "has lived on the margin of democratic transition" and he warned it faces the challenge "charged with positive energy; from Compromís we want to lead the debate of proposals to democratize without conditions an institution that has become an emblem of the old policy, the message is very clear, the system is the message, democracy is not possible or impossible, it is necessary ".
Among the projects they are working, Deputy forward Decree for Transparency and Equity in the council, intended to objectify clearly the reasons for granting of subsidies; Open to the Accounts of the Council and an Audit and Economic Optimization doors.
