Next Monday, 18 of December, will enter into operation in Jesus Pobre underground containers with which EATIM has thanks to the Trust Plan. This is 3 batteries of underground containers, allocating two to garbage, one cardboard and paper, one glass, and one plastic and packaging. The three battery points of underground containers will be located on Calle Diagonal, end of the section of Ametlers Street, and Calle Portelles.
This investment, amounting to 139.000 euros, has meant the burying of all waste collection points within the urban area, an action that involves eliminating surface containers that cause a serious visual impact, odors and filtrations to the subsoil, taking into account it counts the physiognomy of the streets of the local term, of residential typology and scarce height of the buildings.
Since the EATIM has been scheduled, together with the Department of Environment of the City of Dénia, the removal of containers on the surface during the 18 December, as well as the start of an information campaign on the correct identification and deposit of garbage and its recycling.
