They find a Punic amphora of Eivissa in the port of Denia

August 06 from 2012 - 00: 00

The Archaeological Museum of Denia has a new piece by the discovery of Álvaro Gómez Ferrer: an amphora dating from the years 400 / 375 and 300 BC produced in Ibiza which apparently served as a container for the export of wine from the island.

The finding of this piece is especially relevant because, so far, no information was available on trade relations between Denia and Ibiza during the full Iberian culture.

At the time of discovery, Alvaro Gómez Ferrer contacted local police to report the find and collaborated with the rescue.
