The past 24 of April, and for the third consecutive year, Dénia.com and Xàbia.com we celebrate the Solidarity March in favor of the Raquel Payà Special Education Center. Many were the collaborations that the kids received then, and a very special one has become reality these days.
Last Friday, a group of students from the center traveled by bus to the Mall Portal de la Marina To exchange the 850 euros that contributed the company to collaborate with the cause. A money that has been given for a lot. On the one hand, they acquired in TIEN 21 a refrigerator, a coffee machine, a microwave and a juicer that will be used for the cafeteria students project.
On the other hand, in the AKI shop bought the insulation floor for the new SAAPE classroom that the center has started this course. During their visit to the shopping center, the director of the complex, Carlos Fita, was there to live this experience together with the students of the center.
The management team, teachers, and especially the students of the center, have experienced this as a great experience, since in addition to serving to acquire new materials for the school, has served to demonstrate once again their autonomy, since they moved in public transport to the Shopping Center and they were the ones who managed the purchases.
