During the night of today, Tuesday, has been celebrated in the House of Culture the first great electoral act of the PSPV Dénia, where they have shown a full auditorium the most important points of a program that will be made up of 40 in total.
The program, as two of the new faces on the list for 28M have advanced, Marta Gasco y Miguel Ángel Martínez, has been made by more than 100 hands of neighbors who, as they were called last summer by the mayor himself, Vicent Grimalt, so that they could form part of the sectoral meetings with which to contribute ideas for the future of the city.

However, he brought out that 95% of municipal agreements have been agreed unanimously during this legislature. In addition, he has assumed that they have acted with the support of the citizenry thanks to their absolute majority.
Before presenting the program, Grimalt recalled several of the supposed achievements of this last term, among which stand out the urban transformation that Dénia has undergone ("the greatest in recent decades"), the record of performances in sports facilities, the improvement and expansion of educational infrastructure, improvement in the cleaning and garbage collection service, the 3000 free public parking spaces made available to residents, the commitment to large events such as the DNA or the recent Festival of the Humanities, and the great reduction of public debt. All this, he remembered her, while facing the pandemic.
Creation of a university city and a municipal housing park, among the proposals of the PSPV Dénia
Regarding the new programme, Grimalt wanted to summarize it in 10 proposals that stand out from the others. Among them are the improvement of Plaza Jaume I to turn it into an intergenerational meeting space; the preparation of a contest of ideas to remodel the Torrecremada esplanade in the style of the Gandia fairgrounds (without affecting the activities that are now carried out there, such as markets or the Fira de Tots Sants); complete the remodeling of the Les Roques neighborhood by working on the lower streets; a great improvement of the Antonio Català group and Elx street; the creation of the university city; the new conservatory on the plot where the current Raquel Payà educational center is located; the new sports pavilion; the completion of the Bosc de Diana, again; the creation of a municipal park of publicly managed housing for social housing; and the creation of a friendly city adapted for all ages.
However, the program goes further, and the current councilor Maria Josep Ripoll It has advanced some of the other projects with which they assure that they will reach all the neighborhoods. Among them are the creation of the intermodal station in La Pedrera, which depends on whether the General Structural Plan is approved; the improvement of the París-Pedrera neighborhood; the Fester Museum; the new residence; the creation of a CRIS center and Day Center; lighting of the Via Verde; the new court; the museum of La Faroleta; the new Miguel Hernández police station; and the square of the Marqués de Campo site.
