The PP is committed to earmark facilities María Ibars only offer Vocational Training

The necessary extension of the Secondary School María Ibars Denia will take a new direction in the long run: the center will house only families a wide range of vocational training, eliminating the ESO and Baccalaureate studies and enhancing FP.

As explained, the expansion project involves the removal of the center of studies of bachelor and ESO and an important commitment to different cycles of vocational training covering as many possible areas.

Pepa Sivera explained that it would be a gradual elimination, in the long term, and that it has been agreed with the directors of the secondary education centers of the city. In fact, it was the directors of María Ibars who proposed this change. In the event that this happens, the ESO and Bachiller classrooms that are currently in the María Ibars would move to both the IES number 3 and the IES Historian Chabàs. In this line, he wanted to reassure the parents of the students, since it is a long-term plan that does not affect in any way the enrollment of the next courses.

Proposals on education

Among his educational proposals is the expansion of the College of La Xara, a project included in the Trust Plan whose implementation project has already been submitted to the Department.

In this regard, the team led by Ana Kringe has vowed to continue working with the UNED through agreements and contributions to support their actions in the city. Improving the Official School of Languages, support for Agenda 21 School, conditioning of classrooms of various schools or expanding power in the school Cervantes and Llebeig are other proposals.
