"Dance has to reinvent itself in new formats for people to enjoy". With that objective, as explained by Isabela Alfaro, the next 26 in May, contemporary dance will take to the streets of Dénia throughout the day, forming what will be the first edition of the open-air festival Dansant a la Marina.

This proposal, organized by the Department of Culture of the Ajuntament de Dénia, in collaboration with the association Fragile Dance, will gather in Dénia seven companies of the Valencian Community that will take the Municipal Market, the playground of the street La Vía, the Plaza de la Constitució and the Calle Marques de Campo.

The councilman of Culture, Rafa Carrió, has explained that it is intended to bring contemporary dance, a discipline with little presence in the institutional cultural offer, closer to the public of Dénia and the Marina Alta.
