Structural Plan will be exposed to the public on December 23

The mayor, Ana Kringe, has signed the decree of public exhibition of the structural General Plan. The document will be published in the Official Gazette of the Comunitat Valenciana on Monday December 22. From the next day and during 45 business days and will remain exposed to the public in the Meeting Room located on the main floor of the City of Dénia. The consultation time is from 9 to 14 hours and from 17 to 19 hours, from Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 10 to 13 hours.

Councilor for Urban Planning, Vicente Chelet, explained that during this period of public exposure will work for the writing of the environmental report of the plan. A process of citizen participation will be opened through workshops of the 21 Local Agenda, whose report should also be incorporated into the general plan document before its approval by the full council. Some workshops that will start next January 15.

After the public exhibition phase, the general plan document and the written reports will be submitted to the approval of the municipal plenary session and then forwarded to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Territory and Environment, which will be responsible for its final approval.

Close collaboration with the PSOE and citizens

Vicente Chelet pointed out that it has taken two days longer than expected in his signature, as they have incorporated some of the suggestions and changes proposed by the municipal groups of PSPV and Citizens "with whom we have maintained a close and satisfactory collaboration during the meetings on the project".

Among these additions, Chelet pointed out the land reserve in sector B-4 Bisserot to be able to move the Dénia-Alicante trenet station from its current location there.

Two alternatives have also been introduced for the route of the Perimeter Round: the initial proposal of the municipal government and another option that takes advantage of part of the existing roads. Likewise, some improvements have been made in the reserve of land for future roads and changes in some accesses.

The document also includes the changes proposed by Jesús Pobre's EATIM, consisting of the reservation of land for a future House of Culture and a modification that will allow the municipal ownership of the riurau. In the case of La Xara, the document finally does not declassify as much land as the one proposed by the heads of the Neighborhood Board.
