The PGE worries the Dénia business community: "Its non-approval would be disastrous for the city"

The Business Circle of the Marina Alta shows, in a statement issued to the press, its concern about the General Structural Plan of Dénia, after the approval of an additional provision that exonerates the Generalitat from any patrimonial responsibility derived from this planning. In addition, they point out that the inclusion of other substantial modifications without a new public exhibition causes them concern.

Despite the fact that negative sectoral reports still persist, there is fear that the plan will not finally be approved, "which would be disastrous for a city like Dénia that has not had an urban planning system for 20 years."

In this situation, CEDMA suggests that if the PGE is not approved, the Ministry of Territorial Policy be requested to directly develop a new plan for the city of Dénia, with the support of technical-legal professionals in the area and taking advantage of the work carried out during these years. This measure would be carried out as a matter of urgency and within a maximum period of two years.

The Business Circle of the Marina Alta stresses the need to have an urban planning in Dénia and hopes that the necessary measures will be taken to guarantee the approval of the General Structural Plan or, failing that, the preparation of a new plan as quickly as possible possible.
