The Raset Promenade and takes shape

23 2013 April - 10: 28

Before the summer, the promenade that joins Raset with the El Portet area will be completed. This was announced by the mayor, Ana Kringe, during the visit he made last week to the works that began at the end of last year.

The final result will be a pedestrian promenade of 8 meters wide, with cobblestone pavement and topped on its north side with a bike lane two meters wide. On this same side there is a lateral strip of garden planters and 42 copies of washingtonian palms. The walk will be equipped with streetlights of five meters high and urban furniture consisting of benches, bins, muppies and more planters arranged on the south side of the promenade.

The planned investment is 845.385'84 euros plus VAT and the works are being carried out by the company Marina Portet Dénia, which will complete the action with the leveling of the plot annexed with the drainage of the runoff water to a longitudinal concrete gutter, parallel to the bike lane, with six dumping areas to the dock of the south side of the promenade and the construction of new pontoons for sports moorings to which the new road will also give pedestrian access.
