Throughout 2018 Bel and Trapiello made 12 trips to the Valencian Community, one per month. In them they photographed 22 reservoirs, the electricity generation facilities and the most important tourist centers and cities of the Valencian Community. They also visited the main natural parks, the areas with the greatest risk of depopulation in the short and medium term, and those places where the effects of global warming are already evident - areas affected by large fires, floods, coastal erosion due to the increase in sea level, etc.
In addition to showing the places, "Paraíso Outside" also addresses the relationship of its inhabitants with the territory, through historical, cultural and social aspects.
