Dénia present in the 150 anniversary of the Salvation Army in London

Protestant Christian Church Salvation Army celebrated its 150 years of existence last week in London. Micael Álvarez was the delegate who traveled from headquarters to the concentration Dénia joined almost 20.000 faithful.

Alvarez, who was honored to have attended such a celebration, enjoyed in the British capital the large number of activities organized to celebrate this event. From concerts to workshops which were "very intense and enriching days". The representative of Dénia was the one who led the Spanish flag in the parade that was to conclude the anniversary.

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 and today more known for his non-governmental charitable work for the needy that being a branch of Protestantism. This organization works in more than 120 countries around the world in various activities to improve the situation of people in need.
