The Consell has accepted the free transfer, by means of a lawsuit mutation, of a property in Dénia to be used as sheltered housing for women victims of gender violence.
On June 28, 2019, the Alicante town council agreed to the free transfer to the Generalitat of said property to transform it into a home for victims of sexist violence. Proposal accepted by the Undersecretariat of the Vice Presidency and Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies on May 12.
With this transfer, the property is made available to the Generalitat, free of charges, encumbrances and any other expense. This transfer is subject to the commitment to allocate said space as sheltered housing for women victims of gender violence throughout the transfer.
Likewise, the Dénia City Council must guarantee the elimination of any obstacle that may prevent or hinder the execution of the planned project.
The assigned property will be incorporated into the General Inventory of Assets and Rights of the Generalitat, as a public property destined to the public social assistance service assigned to the Vice Presidency and Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies.
In the event of non-compliance with the conditions of the assignment, the property will be immediately reverted to the local corporation and the space will be removed from the General Inventory of Assets and Rights of the Generalitat.
